How to Record a Meter Reading

There are two primary methods to manually enter a new reading for an existing meter.
Step 1: Access the Input Form
Section titled “Step 1: Access the Input Form”Method 1: Quick Add via List View
- Navigate to Maintenance > Meters.
- Locate the specific meter in the list.
- Click the Reading icon associated with that meter’s row.
Method 2: Add via Detail View
- Navigate to Maintenance > Meters.
- Click on the target meter to open its detail view.
- Click the Reading button located within the interface.
Step 2: Record the Data
Section titled “Step 2: Record the Data”Complete the data entry form. The system will immediately evaluate the new data against any active Meter Triggers.

Step 3: Confirm Entry
Section titled “Step 3: Confirm Entry”Click the Submit button to append the new reading to the meter’s historical log.
