How to Delete a Cycle Count
Section titled “How to Delete a Cycle Count”If a Cycle Count was created by mistake or assigned to the wrong location, you can delete it to keep your dashboard clean.
System Safeguard – Strict Deletion Rule
Section titled “System Safeguard – Strict Deletion Rule”To protect the integrity of your inventory audit trail, UniCMMS only allows deletion when:
- The Cycle Count is still in Draft status.
Once an audit moves to Processing or Completed, the Delete action is permanently blocked.
danger: Status must be Draft If the record is already Processing or Completed, you cannot delete it. Use status management instead (e.g. mark as Cancelled).
Step 1 – Verify the Status
Section titled “Step 1 – Verify the Status”- From Parts & Supplies → Cycle Counts, open the List tab.
- Confirm that the target record’s Status is Draft.
Step 2 – Open the Action Menu
Section titled “Step 2 – Open the Action Menu”- Locate the Draft record you want to remove.
- Click the More (⋯) icon in the far‑right column.
Step 3 – Select Delete
Section titled “Step 3 – Select Delete”- Choose Delete from the dropdown menu.
- A confirmation prompt appears.
Step 4 – Confirm Deletion
Section titled “Step 4 – Confirm Deletion”- Verify you have selected the correct Cycle Count.
- Confirm the action.
The audit record is permanently removed from your Cycle Counts list.
