How to Delete a Scheduled Cycle Count

If a recurring inventory audit is retired or was created by mistake, you can delete the Scheduled Cycle Count template so it no longer generates new audits.

System Safeguard – Historical Data Protection

Deleting a schedule:

• Only removes the automation template.
• Does not delete or change any existing Cycle Counts that were previously generated.

Your historical audit trail remains fully intact.

Step 1 – Open the Scheduled Tab

1. From the main sidebar, expand Parts & Supplies.
2. Click Cycle Counts.
3. At the top left of the dashboard, select the Scheduled tab.

Step 2 – Open the Action Menu

1. Locate the schedule you want to remove.
2. Click the More (⋯) icon in the far‑right column of that row.

Step 3 – Select Delete

1. Choose Delete (highlighted in red with a trash‑can icon) from the dropdown menu.

Step 4 – Confirm Deletion

1. A confirmation prompt appears.
2. Verify you have selected the correct schedule.
3. Confirm the deletion.

The template is removed and UniCMMS will no longer generate new Cycle Counts from this schedule.
