How to Enable Internal Part Transfers (Admin Only)
Section titled “How to Enable Internal Part Transfers (Admin Only)”In multi‑facility organizations, Internal Transfers let you move parts between sites instead of always buying from vendors.
Before anyone can use this module, a System Administrator must enable it at the tenant level.
danger: Global Permission Enabling Internal Transfers affects the entire organization. Once enabled, authorized users across all sites will be able to initiate and manage transfers between locations.
Step 1 – Enter the Admin Portal
Section titled “Step 1 – Enter the Admin Portal”- From your main UniCMMS dashboard, scroll down to the Other section in the sidebar.
- Click Admin Portal.
Step 2 – Open Tenant Settings
Section titled “Step 2 – Open Tenant Settings”- Inside the Admin Portal, look at the left‑hand menu under Settings.
- Click Tenant Settings.
Step 3 – Open Operational Permissions
Section titled “Step 3 – Open Operational Permissions”- On the Tenant Settings page, select the Operational Permissions tab from the inner menu.
Step 4 – Enable Internal Part Transfers
Section titled “Step 4 – Enable Internal Part Transfers”- Locate the section labeled Enable Part Transfer.
- Check the box on the right side to activate the Internal Transfers module.
You will also see an option for Enable Cross‑Site Part Request Visibility directly underneath—this controls how much transfer detail users can see across sites.
Step 5 – Save the Configuration
Section titled “Step 5 – Save the Configuration”- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the black Update button to permanently save your configuration.
The Internal Transfers module is now available to authorized users in your tenant.
