Understanding Cross-Site Part Request Visibility
Section titled “Understanding Cross-Site Part Request Visibility”The Cross‑Site Part Request Visibility setting controls how much information users can see about Internal Transfers that do not directly involve their home site.
This option appears directly under Enable Part Transfer in Tenant Settings → Operational Permissions.
Visibility Modes

| Enabled (checked) | Users can see cross‑site information in transfer requests: requester, Source Inventory, Destination Inventory, and reviewer. | Supply Chain Transparency – ideal for open organizations where visibility prevents duplicate emergency requests. |
| Disabled (unchecked) | Users only see requests and inventories within their own site. All cross‑site details are hidden. | Strict Data Isolation – ideal when sites operate as separate financial entities and must not see each other’s usage. |
tip: Match your data policy Choose Enabled if collaboration and transparency across sites is more important than isolation. Choose Disabled if each site is treated like an independent business unit.
