In UniCMMS, a Set (also called a kit or Bill of Materials) is a predefined group of parts that are frequently used together for a specific job.

Creating Sets makes Work Orders faster, more accurate, and standardized.

  1. From the main sidebar, expand Parts & Supplies.
  2. Click Sets to open the Sets dashboard.
  1. In the top‑right corner, click the black + Create button.
  2. The Create Set form opens.

Fill in the fields to define the kit’s identity and contents.

tip: Mirror your SOPs Build Sets to match your standard procedures (e.g. PM checklists) so every Work Order uses the same materials every time.

  1. Review all included parts and quantities.
  2. Remove any unwanted items using the trash‑can icon next to each row.
  3. Click Submit.

The Set is now active and can be added to Work Orders. When used, UniCMMS automatically pulls all nested parts and quantities from your inventory.
