The Sites module is where you define where your organization operates. Every operational record is tied to a Site so multi‑site tenants can report and compare KPIs without mixing financial or operational data between locations.
About Sites
Section titled “About Sites”In UniCMMS, a Site is the highest level of the organizational hierarchy. It acts as a data silo that contains all operational activities. Every piece of data—from a single bolt in inventory to a major production line—must be anchored to a Site.
A Site is not only a physical location; it is a reporting boundary. By isolating data at the Site level, multi‑site organizations can compare key performance indicators (KPIs) across regions or plants without mixing records.
The collapse architecture
Section titled “The collapse architecture”When you select a Site in the product, the interface collapses related models into one view. The system filters and aggregates:
| Area | What rolls up under that Site |
|---|---|
| Facilities | Sub‑locations, zones, and rooms |
| Assets | Machinery, vehicles, and equipment located there |
| Inventory and parts | Stock in the Site’s warehouse or supply areas |
| Work orders | Maintenance history and upcoming work |
| Users and teams | People authorized to work at that Site |
| Purchasing | Procurement and vendor activity tied to the Site’s budget |
Site-level statistics and analytics
Section titled “Site-level statistics and analytics”Each Site can expose a real‑time dashboard. Typical metrics include:
- Operational health — Share of reactive versus preventive maintenance.
- Asset density — Active versus decommissioned assets.
- Stock valuation — Monetary value of parts held at the Site.
- Resource distribution — Technicians assigned versus open work orders.
